SUNNYLANDS CENTER AND GARDENS

On view: September 2017 – June 2018

This exhibition showcased paintings and sculptures by José and Tomás Chávez Morado, artist brothers from Guanajuato, Mexico. In 1968, the brothers produced a half-scale version of El Paraguas for Sunnylands — a carved fountain that portrays a history of Mexico. The original resides at the entrance of the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City.

With Beski Projekts. Lighting design by Geoff Korf.
