Karina White is an exhibition designer, working in the overlapping disciplines of the arts, sciences, and history. Over the course of her career, she has overseen permanent and temporary exhibitions in world-class Southern California museums and cultural institutions. Her strengths lay in synthesizing and visualizing complex ideas, engaging with public audiences in resonant ways, and building productive and rewarding collaborations. Her work is thoughtful, thorough, visually stunning, and always deeply concerned with meaning and experience. She’s managed complex projects involving diverse teams, budgets up to $1.4 million, and worked with all kinds of extraordinary materials, including rare books and manuscripts, paintings, prints, sculpture, photography, and living collections.
